INFO

Similarly to Teak, the bending and compression strength of Indian Rosewood is strong. This timber species is reported to be fairly hard, very heavy, very dense, with good toughness and impact properties. Although it is strong, its uses usually do not require great strength.

APPEARANCE

Indian Rosewood is a beautiful, rose-like wood with black striping on top of a dark brown base. It offers a wide range of colours from medium to light browns to almost black brown purplish tones.
